When you buy the title from the shop, can you change it after you set it or do you have to pay another 1200 to change it?

Yup - it costs every time you change it.

I may change mine at some point. I'm thinking of going from "Lord of Karma" to "Sultan of Swing", although I do rather like the idea of "Last of the Wilds".

I've got over 14000 spudbux and nothing else to do with them, so I might as well change it eventually.

Since this is here, I've been wondering whether you can use color codes in that... I'm guessing the answer is no but if anyone knows for sure, please tell.

I doubt it, just the code for it would make it too long.

yes, limit is 25, though that limit can be broken... not sure if color codes would work though...

Color codes do not work in titles and as already answered, yes you better know what you want because it costs per change 8)

I'm not gonna say how to hack it as it is very simple to figure out, you just need to know how internet security works.

As many people know, I know a lot about internet security, I think the only people that deserve the longer titles are the people that can figure it out.


For example, I would only exceed the limit by a few letters because I'm not malicious or anything.

I technically could write javascript into it and hi-jack everyones sessionID and thus being able to get into anyones accounts on this forum, but I would find that mean, unnecessary and stupid.

I just needed to finish the word professional. because it would cut off at professi or something like that.

Figured it would be okay and PCGUY would notice how I did it.

Those fields are at least sanitized fields to prevent things like that even though the database character limit isn't the same as the character limit of the field in the database 8)

And there is more to the authentication than just session ID. SpudFiles may be running on older software but it's more secure than you would think

And im sure there are other measures of security, I know I could get around it, I was just paraphrasing what I could do.

I was actually very curious to see if the database field limit was larger than 25 or not. Its probably varchar(50) is my guess though.
