For a upcoming BB Rifle I want to attach a piece of 1/4 brake line to a galvinised steel reducer, but the adapter that comes with it doesnt fit. It slides into a 1/8 reducer, Will epoxy hold pressures of 200+ psi. Its Devcon Epoxy rated to 1500 psi but it doesnt bond to steel well. I do not have access to a welder or propane blow torch.
That is all.

Do you have access to JB Weld? As far as I know, it bonds to steel quite well.
Its weird that your epoxy isn't bonding to the steel though. Most epoxies are multi-surface adhesives.

Ok thanks, I heard JB Weld leaks at 200 psi, I roughed up the brakeline a little on a old mini but it still leaked at 100 psi and began to come loose.
That is all.

Its the cheap 3 buck epoxy that comes in a double syringe, maybe some better quality stuff will work
That is all.

I think it was Mr C who tested JB Weld to 200 psi and it always leaked but maybe it was someone else, I may try it anyway though
That is all.
Aslong as the fits are tight and you prepare the surfaces properly either epoxy or jbweld should easily hold those pressures.

Wrap it tightly with masking tape then shove it in, then cover the front of it with JB and you should be fine. You could even pour eopxy all over the top of that to be safe.

Ok Ill try that
That is all.
i wouldnt use tape, I would get a plug that fits the reducer then drill a exact hole into that, then epoxy or jbweld the brakeline into that.
