Wow! I really didn't expect that to work... but I just so happened to be drinking a Pepsi and had some Necco's left over from Easter...

It produces a nice pleasing flame with a small glass like that, but I suggest increasing the surface area for a small torch. I used a soup bowl and crushed up the Necco and it definitely produced a lot more Hydrogen Hydroxide!

Whoever knew that hydrogen hydroxide was flammible!

I wouldn't follow that link, it raped my other computer with the virus that poses as an antivirus program. Now I have to fix it for the 12th time.

This one is safe: http://www.metacafe.com/watch/2506560/p ... _surprise/

Quit browsing the web with administration privileges. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I get those attempts and I get a box up that simply states, this is an executable file. Save or Abort. There is no run option. Saved my butt many times on videos that are not videos.

If I don't run it as admin, it can't install.

Never provide some random web page permission to write executable files into your Windows system.

I did some research and found Pepsi has Hydrogen Hydroxide as the main ingredient. It was hard to find this as they guard their recipe.

I don't think the Hydrogen Hydroxide is burning. I think another reaction is releasing a more flammable substance.

I dunno... Hydrogen Hydroxide is pretty nasty stuff... Hell, in it's solid form it can burn you without even lighting it!

Seriously though, I'm not sure I'll believe this until I see it done by some other source... I get the feeling they've added somthing like an alcohol or other substance to the pepsi to make it burn.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

In very high concentrations in gaseous form it can produce very serious burns and be fatal.

In liquid form it kills many people every year in the USA.

It is also found in cancerous tissue, and was used in Hitler's death-camps. Inhalation causes vigorous coughing, mucus production, and eventually asphyxiation.

Another name for it is dihydrogen monoxide. It's nothing to play around with, that's for sure.

Mobile could you?
I just have a feeling that that pepsi isn't pepsi. Smells like alcohol or gasoline to me.

I bet it works just like the glowing tomatoes.

secret hidden message, highlight to see...
In other words it's bullshit. The "pepsi" has had something like rubbing alcohol added to it. Note that when the bottle is opened it vents very little, there isn't the "click-click-click" of the cap breaking free from the collar and when poured it makes little foam.

Some people will believe anything.
