Last night while messing around in the garage i discovered that a standard BBQ piezoelectric ignitor will fit perfectly in 3/4" pvc. Today i will fill the end of the pipe with silicone and mount the ignitor on my cannon permanently.

Yep, it's been done before. You can create quite a nice simple handle this way. Good job of finding it...

I suggest not gluing it in place. It really isn't needed.

Route the wires out the back of the handle' horizontal component and end the wires with alligator clips. You can then easily move the sparker from gun to gun
