Good to see another person who's got a penchant (hope I spelt that right) for Land Rovers.

Also, if I remember correctly, there was a thread like this, but I lack
JSR-esque link gathering skills, so I can't give you a link.

Anyways, I've got the most average set of tools you can imagine, so
I'd better stop rambling.

There was a humorous "tools redefined" thread, not sure if that's the one you're referring to.

By the way, forgot to mention this important tool:

That wasn't the thread which I was referring to, but thanks for the link,
quite amusing.

I saw your Land Rover, but why a short wheelbase, it could be so much bigger.

[Edit, I've been looking at those Leathermans, what are they like?

Sorry about the thread hijack.

Because it's also my every-day vehicle, and urban parking with a LWB would be a bit of nightmare. It's already a chore without power steering

Toolbox in your pocket, mine is always with me especially at work, even when I'm forced to suit up :D Not sure what your local guarantee arrangement would be but here it comes with a lifetime guarantee, should you need to replace it there's only a small fee to cover postage to the US, you can also trade in your old one for a newer model just making up for the cost difference.

I also have a Skeletool for more "dressy" occasions :)

I have a leatherman surge and i use it all the time. i would recomend it to anyone looking for a multi-tool. also if you get a surge or a wave or any other leatherman with interchangeable bits i recomend grinding the shank of a magnetic bit holder to fit in the tools screwdriver. it is great for using standard insert bits in the leatherman.
