save some money and get reged HPA/Co2 it would be way better and you can use it on things latter

A 12v compressor will run fine on 3s lipo. Been there...done that.

IIRC it's a 2100mah pack...gets about 30 or so shots @ 100psi on a charge.

If that isn't an option, NiMh, LiPo(that sounds painful),LiIon & SLA batteries
are the way to go.
