DCV valve Identification and additional queries

ok, i'm not exactly new to the field of pneumatics but I recently came into a few DCV's of all the same make and model. they seem to be 5,2 valves, solenoid operated, pneumatic AND spring return, have an arrow i cant identify pointing down off the bottom of the solenoid on the diagram, and have the following markings. FESTO, MEH - 5/2 - 4,0 (linebreak) 30 619 theres a few more markings but i'll take pictures and post them later if anyone thinks they can help.

the exact same shape, but without the convenient threaded holes in the bottom, instead theres a rubber gasket with 5 rows of holes, about 1/16th in diameter, two in each row, lined up, and one hole in each opposite corner for actuating the valve. let me see if it's on that datasheet.

yeah, my problem is that the holes in this thing for airflow are A, tiny, and B, non-threaded. i dont see how this is supposed to work, probably supposed to have a bolt on adaptor on the bottom.

the part labeled as "individual sub-base" on that datasheet looks like it would receive what the bottom of mine looks like. my issue is finding a way to adapt these

yeah, that's how it works.... pretty useful if you have, let say 10 valves and you can all mount them on one sub-base...
though not very useful if you just want to use one

yeah... i mean. i can buy as many of these from this local supplier as i need, but where could i get the bases for them? AS-ME-1/4 is the sub base that would fit mine. and yeah, i know. i tend to double/triple post, my home forum has something called a "delete post" button so i can merge them all before anyone cares.

well if the supplier has the valves, then he probably has the subplates too

Personally, I think you should choose a model with threaded ports. Also keep in mind that some of these valves are pretty exotic (i.e. external piloting ports etc.) so make sure you know what you buy.
What is more, do you really need a 5 way valve...? In order to build a semi automatic gun you just need a 3 way valve.
Finally, it is a better idea to use a manual valve, not a solenoid valve, since it does not require batteries.
