I'm close to done with my RPG-2.0-P build so I can start working on ideas for accurate ammo. The thing is, it's hard to beat good old taters for ammo. You don't have to go looking for them to re-use, they generally come apart before doing too much damage on impact, they're pretty cheap and they won't harm the enviroment. I cut mine in half, stand them up and shove the cutter down from the end so they have a nice round nose. They're shaped like a bullet and you get two out of a spud. To bad they're all different. When I give them a ride out of a rifled barrel, at around 40 to 60 yards they hook, slice, drop or rise like a big league pitcher could only dream of. Except the ones that go straight. I guess I need to hand pick the more expensive bakers and cut cylinder shaped, same length slugs to get repeatability. I also wonder about the weight of the soon to be mashed potatoes, too heavy and at some point something other than the potatoe is going to move! Has anyone done any tater accuracy testing or kept going bigger till something bad happened? What is the weight limit rule of thumb for projectiles?
