Vinyl valve hose

I went to Lowes and picked up a couple feet of 1/4" vinyl hose. Will it be okay to use it on a sprinkler valve trigger for 100 psi? Oh yea its yhe clear kind without the white braids

100 PSI is about the max working pressure for vinyl. It usually bursts around 350PSI so you should be fine.

Even if it did burst it is so soft it would hardly pose much threat of physical harm.

This shouldn't be a problem as long as rule N^o.2 of gun safety is being observed:

The more volume you have between the sprinkler valve and the trigger valve, the longer it will take to empty and consequently the slower the valve will open.

The roll of hose should say the rating, if it is not on the hose itself. Check the label. These are things you should consider before hand, not after you buy it.
