That is what I think is ridiculous about all the push to go back and edit a post, rather than post anew.

I would never have known that you edited your post, if you hadn't accidentally posted this way.

I think it is just plain stupid to be so insistant on making everyone go back and edit old posts.

I already read the initial post. How the hell am I supposed to know when someone has edited and added something else to it ? Read their frikken mind ??? Constantly go back through every thread I have ever read, and carefully re-read them, every few hours, just to be sure that no one has added something ?

Post a new post, so I can know when you have added something else, dammit !

:D

Sectional density FTW!

Nice bit of testing :)

My edit was just a small boo-boo correction. I called the Marshmallow Cannon the Mouse Musket. The correction was not new post worthy.

I figured that out

;)

The point stands, though.

If you had gone back to make some sort of specific point that would have helped me in some way... And had to edit the last post you made, to do so... And I had already read that post... It isn't likely that I would ever know that you had made the point.

I will take the time to point out, though, that the technicality is that several people are quick to jump on someone for making a new post instead of going back and editing an old one. But the reality is that it is not officially enforced all that much. TPTB do seem to have quite a bit of common sense when it comes to what they do about this and other rules.

Still, it's a pet peeve, and you have to air pet peeves, every chance you get, to keep them from beginning to stink up your brain case. LOL

Speaking of sectional density, I just picked up some drill rod a foot long. I'm thinking of the large cannon with a 2.5 inch sabot and a log I have in the yard.. :D
