There are still a couple left if anybody here is interested.

The brass finish and the shape attracted me.
I'm guessing it uses a diaphragm like a rainbird valve or something. What sort of pressures would you trust it at?
Has anyone here used anything similar before?...What was it like?
I'm curious...

Is anyone here familiar with Enots threads etc.? I've never heard of them before. I'm just hoping I'll be able to buy BSP/metric adapters for it. :confused1:

Naah wait... I did a quick google search and it seems that enot nuts and sleeves are just compression fittings

yes they're industrial copmpession fittings, unlike normal compression fittings the compression nut has a male thread. the 1/2" refers to the OD of the pipe to be used, here's a datasheet:

look on page 6, the thread for a 1/2" fitting is 3/4 x 24TPI Which is a lot finer than a bsp thread.
still i'm sure you can bodge somerthing together with brute force and plenty of epoxy

Update: arrived this morning, yes it's a diaphragm valve and yes the threads are bigger than 1/2" BSP, almost big enough to fit 3/4" BSP.

No problem for yours truly and his binary adhesive stockpile of course, will have a play after Monday when the other half finally heads back to the motherland

I'm thinking of using one of these as a pilot to make a small calibre semi-auto...
