You just sand out the lip with a bore-hawg; hardly complicated or time consuming

Yeah, I've tested it with 1/2 inch PVC using a sanding drum on a dremal, took less than 5 mins

Other than a lack of time, I want to build a 2 inch QDV in a 3 inch T as an external valve like a Mauler or similar valve. It could then be used with various size screw on chambers with a 3 inch threaded outlet.
