thank you for elaborating on that. also, what is the ID of that barrel, I'm not sure what size I need to get a more snug fit.

The ID of that barrel was 6.35mm (1/4") but I have a 26" 6.03mm barrel on the way for it. Get as close to 6mm as you can.

k, made it to sears (they have small o-rings there so I just bought everything there) and I grabbed 2 barrels with the same lenght I had the first time but a smaller ID(1/8 ), and a brass coupler,Image I also cut a slit in the barrel and put an o-ring around the area like you said Image the stuff at the base of it is some epoxy to connect it to the end cap.
have to wait till tomorrow to test it though, my compressor depressurized since I first filled it and it is too late to refill it (I live near old people and it is really loud)

Are those galvanized pipe nipples you are using for a barrel?

Those may be the problem, they usually have seams inside them which will cause space between the bb and barrel. Brake line or a arrow may be a better barrel

I found the seams to be an issue when I bought them, one of the tubes had a seam that extended too far into the inner diameter and caused the bb's to stop, I had to jam a screwdriver in it to let them pass freely

Thy bbs are probably still to lose in the barrel.

Dude, take that crap back, you can't use those...
The coupling will stop the bbs and the barrel needs to be tight. The seam is not helping. At least go out and get some 1/4" brass pipe. That fits the bb's quite well.

go to a mechanics shop and ask for brake line there are two sizes so just bring a bb with you and test.
