Well here's what I think you should do.

Hmmm, I dunno. That spot for the brass tee, it has a little rod that goes across it blocking a connection. I dunno if you push on it to open it or what, but yeah. Do you know what the part below that valve is? The one that has the cap and is like a stem?

The spot with the brass rod retains the spring for the safety pressure relief valve. The other fitting is for an optional float gauge or float switch for shutting off a recovery compressor when the tank is properly filled to full.

Yeah, its hard to get a picture of.... I will try later tonight when my dad gets home from work. But until then... Any other ideas? If you notice, those valves can be unscrewed and replaced, and if its 1/4" I am just gonna add a pressure gauge to one and maybe a endcap on the stem for the threads. I dunno... I will think about it. I like your idea, but will it work with flared stems?

Just unscrew all the stuff on top and make your own arrangment of tees and what not and plumb in all you need on the tank...

Ok. Well I am gonna stop by the shop where I got this from tomorrow, and see what else I can get. I am sure I can get a "non refillable" tank like Tech got (check the freebie guide.) and mod that.

Do you have any plans to modify it for higher flow?

Not really, since I dont have the right tools. I may take apart a schrader and just stick it in an old screw in endcap, epoxy it in place, then stick it on the tank for filling, and then add a QD or something and a pressure gauge. Till then, I think I will stick with my original plan. I am going to get started asap.

Ok, heres another update, I got a second propane tank, I am gonna go back and get the regulator for it. How can I convert the regulator to accept a QD?

You don't need to do any converting. All you do is get the right fittings to get it to the right size so you can thread it into the QD.

Ok. By the way, I took my rifle to Southern Firearms (my local gunstore) and they loved it, and we hooked it up to their compressor at 130psi (my pop off valve popped open, and I had to hold it shut...) and shot it easily 100 feet, with blow by. LOTS of blow by...
