the gun

sight for the show

28 bar can go further

the damage

really? it gets more range with more bars at 17 normal firing pressure it goes 120 + meterCopperboy wrote:Nice gun!
Don't bother pumping above 3 bar or so, before you´ve opened that ball valve the dart will be long gone.

my next gun will have a qev and a longer barrel although the barrel is already like 40 centimetres longFighterAce wrote:He's exaggerating... a bit... you can't use all of that potential at 30 bar with no firing mechanism and such a short barrel. I think you'd see a bigger improvement by speeding up the ball valve with a spring instead of increasing the pressure.

how do you make a stirrup pump?FighterAce wrote:He's exaggerating... a bit... you can't use all of that potential at 30 bar with no firing mechanism and such a short barrel. I think you'd see a bigger improvement by speeding up the ball valve with a spring instead of increasing the pressure.
EDIT
Don't go over 28 bar!! I had a similar pump and the pressure gauge blew off at over 30 bar with a large chunk of the plastic body. Those little pumps are Not safe for large chambers and for pressures higher than 28 bar. Thats why they say "do not go over 28 bar" on the package.
Build yourself a stirrup pump... you'll get higher pressure, more volume and more durability from it.

thanks for te pic but i know how to make it spring loaded its just that my new project with a qev is already under way so i didn't put much more effort in itjackssmirkingrevenge wrote:If you're feeling creative you can spring-load the ball valve with a bit of effort.
The above design is for a semi-auto repeater, if you reverse the spring and trigger dynamics you can make a single shot fast valve.
