I need some help deciding.

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

My sprinkler valve on my first cannon has finally stopped working, seeing as it stops sealing past 20 psi, so I need some help deciding. Should I make my own QEV, and use sdr21 for a paintball barrel, and have a fire extinguisher mounted underneath for an air tank. Or buy another sprinkler valve? I have $20 to spend, and I can get most of the stuff for option 1 free. I just need some help deciding is all. Which would give me more power, and make my 3 liter FE last for at least 10 shots.

for more shots form a qev you need 2 tanks 1 at the front the firering chamber and one at the back for the air the firing chamber can be small and mount the fire tank at the back pilot the whole thing with a blowgun just tap the blowgun for the shot tap it again more shots

you don't need two chambers if you fill from the chamber side and put a small hole in the piston and a spring behind it, then tap the blow gun it will go semi. just like btb did here

I think I may go with a single FE chamber. Should I buy another sprinkey or make a qev?

Make a QEV, it take much more pressure than a sprinkler valve. If you want semi take a look at my gun, if you have a big HPA tank it gives a lot of shoots +50 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeRnZeZps4g

wyz, I was going to make something along those lines, I just don't know how I could make a mag for it and stuff. Also, what do you use to pilot that sniper?

Ok, I figured everything out. I am going to make a price limit of 50 dollars, for my own sake... And I am going to make a copper sniper, complete with magazine and scope. I will use a fire extinguisher for a chamber, and put it in a back pack with a coil hose coming around up to the gun. I will see about getting a pressure regulator, and I will put in 60 psi or so, and use 10-20 for each shot. Its not going to be high power, but it will get there as the time goes on.

Triple post much?

Anyway, your idea sounds nice but you might have to spend more than 50 Dollars on supplies, especialy if you are buying a scope and a regulator
too.

BUY A QEV!

Check ebay, you could probably get a 3/4'' one for 20 bucks.

Sorry for the bump, but I have a little update. Instead of a sniper, its now a cloud bbmg, and the fire extinguisher problem has been fixed. It seals (still has a tiny leak which I will fix ASAP) and it holds 100 psi easily. I got a new hand pump to pump it up, and it can take me up to 175 psi with a lot of work. I am going to drill the hole for the air hose connection into the cloud chamber, and make some magazines for it today, and I will get some pictures up on my dads computer either later today or tomorrow.

Running of a fire extinguisher, you will be lucky to get 3-7 seconds with no detent.
That is all.

Yeah I know, thats why we are going to have a gas powered compressor on stand by, and the bbmg is going to be my secondary while I snipe the opposing team. My friend got a full metal rpk and he is going to defend me while I recharge the tank and what not. I have a little problem with it though, my pump gauge says 100 psi, but my on board gauge stops at just over 40. Why is that?
