Nah, it wont kill you. Unless you have a pacer maker or something like that.

The spark looks much smaller now, When I wrote that I was using it at night time and it looked alot bigger. But still, its cool.

Its just a capacitor attached to a AA battery. You charge it up for about 5 seconds then touch the wires.

With a transformer that takes the 1.2 volts from a battery and ramps it up to about 1000 - 4000 volts....

Remember it's not the voltage that kills, it's the amperage.

So when you take 1.2 volts at lets say 1 amp and transform it to say 1200 volts you only get 1 mA or one thousandth of an amp... It takes about 65 mA across the heart to kill.

If you can't get a stun gun you could check out these kits.

http://www.amazing1.com/hv-dc-power-supplies.htm

you could also try using an automotive coil.

killagorrila99 you can kick up dead topics if you have something useful to say or a question to ask.

Not normally, they run about 20K - 50K volts, some stun gun go up to 900K volts. But be extra careful with automotive coils what they lack in voltage they make up for in amperage (amps are what kills you).

on my spudgun, i had multiple spar points, i covered all of the exposed metal with jb weld(looks cleaner than tape) but i left two exposed for the stun gun, stun guns are the most expensive part of a combustion cannon, might as well be able to use it on multiple cannons. its kinda like the guy with the slow burnin fuses on on the first cannons, cept its a stungun :D

Another ignition source is the good old flyback transformer that is used in tv's and CRT computer monoters. They are everywhare but you need to know alot about electronics. Also it is usually very hard to find pinouts of the flyback trnasformers.
But apart from all that - its a really cheap form of a taser and you can get the readaly available in Aust.
you get around 20,000kva or more from a 15v powersource. this equartes to around a 2cm spark that should be planty for a spudgun.

have fun but be safe with electricity ! :D

so what i want to know is how i can make these operational from a distance.

so i have a sg. i pop it open and cut the wire going to and from the switch. then i lengthen the wires.

but wouldn't the longer wires lower the electric level due to resistance? makeing the perfomance of the sg probably not functional.

people were talking about doing something in "relay".

Im sorry but im not to familair with that term. unless your talking about a race.

how can i make a switch that will set off the switch of the sg from a distance?

Yes he sells them, If you are in a country that stun guns are illegal, buy one from sgort (launchpotatoes.com) Thats what I did and I live in Canada.

The circuitry for the stun gun isn't illegal and he sells them.
