newbie valve question......

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

How much pressure did you put into the valve when it was leaking. It takes at least 15 psi to seal I think, so just blowing isn't enough.

i got it up to 40 psi when it was still leaking....... are you fairly sure that it seals at 15 psi?

I think that it should seal at something like that. But less pressure and it won't.

I had a Faulty sprinkler valve like this but once it got to about 70psi it stopped leaking and then one day it just stopped leaking all together so just try the high pressures and if that fails get some neoprene and replace the sealing washer,you never no it might just work.
