What is the stupidest thing you have ever tried to shoot out of your cannon?? Think before you post, you would never shoot a small animal like a frog or a mouse or a bird, and per forum rules, that is not allowed to be posted!!! Lets here it guys, post it here!!!

Yup, I tried an egg, I know Im a moron!!

I took up eggs once in a challenge at a Maker event. The difficulty is launching them unbroken. We managed to launch one from our event, over the fence and onto the roof of the car dealership next door. Eggs are quite aerodynamic.

The event was an egg drop challenge. I mentioned I could probably toss one unbroken back up to the roof of the building. The need to try for distant to the back fence led to the overshoot of the fence, most of the car lot beyond and onto the roof of the car dealership. Oops. Good thing we missed the cars.

In regards to the rules, you can PM me on how the Mouse Musket got it's name. (it was from a mouse trap. not a living mouse) This is not recommended. It's messy.

Paper towel tub stuffed with sticks and shop towels. Haha, it went far. It hit a tree and exploded into dust.

We had a squeaky pet chew toy...small pink bunny head...with ears.

Fit REAL nice in the first cannon I made...most popular ammo I had too...everyone wanted to "shoot the pink bunny".

Then some arse missed, hit the edge of the backstop...bunny went sailing...never to be found again. :(

And this guy...dollar store candy "thing"....exploded on impact. Plastic drawer pull are fun too.

"Whatever fits in the barrel" leaves some room for interpretation.

That sounds like a euphemism for something terrible.

I once packed a barrel full of flour, trying to make a cool cloud. I pulled the pillot, and it seemed like all the air had gone out the pilot. As I was closing the pilot, it fired. I was completely unprepared for the recoil of a barrel of flour and the chamber at 1,000psi.

My personal worst was what I didn't shoot.

Meaning, a couple times I loaded a potato and forgot about it for a week or two.

Haha JSR. Who else but benstern?
