My spudgun accident as of today 7/30/11
I was playing around with my golfball launcher and was just having fun shooting a cardboard box with towels and junk inside of it, and I was getting ready to shoot my last ball when small ball valve wasn't shut all the way and my brother pushed my barrel , (not on purpose) and my gun went off with my gun filled with 120psi launching a ball at the tree bouncing back and hitting me above my right eye, thank God it didnt hit my eye, I do need to see

Dude, I told you not to use yourself as target practice, lol!!! That musta hurt like a bastard!!! I, however, didnt feel a thing, lol!!! Always be AWARE, and PAY ATTENTION!!!

I've found it's much safer to have only one person operate a spudgun from filling to firing. I hope now you'll learn to check all your valves (especially the pilot). The last thing we need is a forum member ending up in the news because of an spudgun-related injury/death.
Yea, i learned very well, my eye is fine, I can still drive, type and everything else, but no stiches,
Im glad my eye is good,
,
I didnt feel it at all surprisngly after i felt a thump,I was like lil ice and ill be good, Didnt realize I was bleeding till I saw blood on the ball lol, Then a second later my hand , and shirt were soaked in blood, Then ran to my mom , and said get the hell up, my heads bledding, and just fixed it up

A good reminder, you should always wear good quality safety gear before firing and operating anything ..... potentialy lethal, or in this case, a spudgun.
Good to hear you're ok..

At the risk of stating the obvious, that could easily have taken your eye out.
Others were not so lucky.
I hope you've at least learnt your lesson.

Just don't tell them you got it by shooting yourself
