If they are too expensive, try spares for a cheap airgun like part BRL088 on this page: http://www.gunspares.co.uk/shopdisplayp ... 2&id=24347
If you want a simple tube, check a model or hobby shop, they usually have brass and aluminium tubes of different diameters in one metre lengths.

NICE! I love it! but the fps seems to be lacking.. is the valve releasing fast enough? or are you just using light BB's

im using light bbs there like probably not even a gram.
There so light that when shooting them about a meter away from a can they miss :/ hahah but we ordered some over ebay hoping they will allow it into Adelaide

I live here in the states and we buy it at local hardware stores here (I'm not sure where you are from). Otherwise there are some places online but I am not sure of a consistent source for the various sizes.jazzman56 wrote:Hey where can you get the galvanized steel pipe ???? I've looked everywhere and bunnings don't seem to have it. Maybe i'm looking in the wrong section, any ideas.
QUESTION: Is there any down side to eliminating the expansion chamber and using only the fire extinguisher body?
I want to have an external air source fill the extinguisher tank but need to eliminate the expansion chamber to save space. Thanks guys! Great build by the way I like how low profile it is.

Haha thank you
The expansion chamber you would probably need because thats the chamber that shoots bbs but if you were to use high pressure you could probably put an end cap were the expansion chamber comes out. (High pressure as in 1000psi at least in the main chamber)
I was planning on putting the fire extingusher in a back pack but i had no cable to hook it up with, from fire extingusher to the gun :/

well.. it's looking good! may I also ask what loading mechanism you're using? I have designed a pretty genius one myself!! I just want to compare it with others to see if it would work.. I have to get it machined.. and I REALLY don't have money to burn..

with my loading system there a little piston inside so when i shoot the air pushes the piston forward then shoots the bb and then it retracts to its normal position by a spring
i would love to machine your design for you but i haven't go any metal left :/

wait.. where do you live? If you're in the US then I'll frikkin send you some metal!! At least.. when I get some more money.. I also have to finish my go kart project, and I have to get a little farther on my halo armor project before I'm allowed to spend too much on this gun ( my dad's rule! ) So.. If you do, I'll send you some metal! I'll even give you some extra, just for yourself!
