Something to use as a air tank?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Anybody have a idea of something i could use as a miniture air tank to use as a source for the air on a semi-auto. something that i could mount into the stock on the gun etc.

i was thinking something like a miniture propane tank but you can only buy them full and they cost like $30.

i was going to use some tubing (11mm diameter) below the barrel but it doesnt hold enough air for more than like 2-3 acceptable shots and takes up a lot of space

suggestions?

If its going on a qev, just use a close nipple, and a end cap. Its a tiny air chamber and fills easily.

Any old pipe fittings will work. What's the max operating pressure?

Pvc can't be used in everything. We don't even know the pressure this guy wants to use it at. Would you feel safe using 500 psi in 2" pvc?

yeh so im thinking max operating pressure around 250psi? its the main air source to fill a smaller tank so it has to hold enough air for multiple shots (preferably 5+ decent shots)
i was thinking something like this:

more info needed, what valve and have cal?

so your looking for a main take to fill a smaller firing tank, how big is the firing tank? if you can id say up the pressure to 3-400psi and use a reg to drop it down.

uh im using a 1/4 qev and the firing tank will be some 11mm diameter tubing around 15cm long. but i can change this if its too big/small
the barrel is 6.5mm diameter

what kind of regulator to use coz im planning on keeping the gun looking as much as i can like a proper rifle

cheers

I would simply use a small firing chamber, just a 1/4" close nipple with an end cap, and then a 3way valve.

would that hold enough air for a decent shot?
although it would mean i could use a smaller air source tank.
