Hmm, I can imagine a giant 500psi air tank made from multiple co2 fire extinguisher tanks. Wouldn't that be awesome to have?

I would maybe consider if you were willing to ship to the uk, I need one for a steam boiler you see. Got any in the 5-6L range? :D

That removes the valve core, not the valve body. The valve body is welded to the tank.
