"A nice piece of kit" is a proverbial statement. Like "a nice piece of equipment".

Excellent work too, I like seeing high pressures used.

Nice job! Any chance of a diagram? I don't understand the burst disk part, but other wise everything else looks great!

Am I the only one who thinks adding the projectile after the air is a bad idea?

Safety for my launchers is to add the projectile when it can't possibly fire, then add air and shoot.

Both options have their risks, what if you have a misfire while filling? In this case the burst disk is backed up by a ball valve so it's not so critical in my opinion.

Saw the videos in the meantime, that thing kicks like a shotgun! Good stuff :)

The day of the shooting I was incited enough and I badly reloaded I recognize it.
Now I am like that going to make: to put the disk of break then the bullet and the pressure. I thank you for your encouragements

I think that the real performance is slightly lower than this as the burst disk bursts before the ball valve completelly opens

Not that I think it isn't a cool gun - It's great
I am just trying to make a point why there aren't too many high pressure guns (1000+ psi)

The performance of this gun could be achieved with a 7-9X hybrid and ~800-1000 psi max chamber pressure

It simply is not practical to build high pressure pneumatic guns - the increase in the price of materials & difficulty to get them is a lot higher than the performace increase you get

I couldn't agree more, this is a great creation but if you want a high performance single shot launcher hybrids are definitely the way to go.

I think that you should not mix everything and that it is necessary to compare the weapons of the same category: PAC with PAC, hybrid with hybrid
If I change the reservoir I can fire in 300 bar (4500psi) but at the moment I am going to put in it a standard lined in calibre 45
