SO here is my design for a marshmellow gun I am working on. For my burst disk I will use some thing very thin, maybe a piece of a balloon.
DOes any one see a problem in my design? Any suggestions on a burst disk?

Newspaper is porous (SP?) so it wouldnt build pressure fast enough to pop.

Well if the ballon is stretched tight, I could blow it till it flexes enough burst. I have burst a balloon before. And I dont appreciate your input. What is retarded about it? Go play in traffic get fucked up.

go make a paintball gun there funner, mine can shatter cds at like 40psi. if you put a bust disc in i dout there will be a noticable difference in performance unless you plan on like an acutal chamber with valve (in this case burst disc)

It would be VERY hard to pop a balloon like that... its *fairly* hard to pop a balloon just blowing into it.... I do not think this will work so well, but w/e

It's a good asumption that on's breath can produce about 2 psi.
Thus, I'd add an air storage chamber with a C:B ratio of atleast 7:1, probably more.

...and I can't even burst a single layer of inexpensive saran wrap in a 1" union.
