Can someone give me advice for a romote activated valve, either by wires, a small pipe or a rod.
eg. wires- a solenoid valve (it's too big)
pipe- a roller lever valve
rod- rod welded on to slide valve (you push the rod forwards to open the valve)

To see what I'm on about see the pic.
This is for a co-axial rocket launcher and the pic shows the back of the launcher. the valve will go inside the 2" coupler. The spiky bits inside the coupler are threads for the machined endcap which the valve goes on.
Thanks :)

A small QEV is designed for that application. A small trigger valve on a tube will trip the exhaust valve piloting the piston.

Thanks Technician, would a 1/2" QEV pilot a piston with a pilot volume of a 70mmx53mm cylinder.
And according to JSR "0.825cm2 of area for air to flow from the main chamber to the pilot."

A 1/2" QEV should have at least 1.13 cm2 of area so you should be fine ;)

To pilot the QEV itself, assuming a commercial valve with a cup seal, even a schrader should suffice to pilot it.
