Nice to see it come to fruition, regarding silencers, if you have more than the total volume of produced gases, it will be qute effective.

If there's some interest, I can provide some information on silencers, so let me know.

I'll need to get a 3/4" barrel, but I'll use a 3" drain pipe as a silencer can. Im going to need some help with baffles, so any input you have would be appreciated.

I wouldn't bother with baffles, focus on having sufficient porting and pack the drainpipe reasonably tightly with metal mesh lovingly swabbed with lithium grease.

I just did an 8x shot, but looks like it will not happen again soon :(

After the shot, smoke came out of the barrel. That was the most minor problem though... The piston now leaks despite not seeming to have any noticeable damage or rubber deformation.

Any thoughts?

Melting that caused a pinhole leak? Piston hardness change that is causing deformation upon compression against the sealing face?

The leak is from where to where?

Hmm strange, you might have to use a harder rubber like I ended up doing.
Is there any epoxy on the sealing face or such to stop air leaking through? If the piston bounced back in to the seat, it usually damages the epoxy.

Well, A bit of an update: I finally sent my housing to jrrdw, so I should have a nice new machined aluminum piston that won't crap out on me, And I also got a new electric BBQ ignitor that i need to modify to fit my needs.

I may give it a lick of paint and start a new thread for the 2.0 version of this gun, seeing how this one's pretty dead..

Uh oh... is it completely potted or can you remove the casing and get to the board?

completely potted, but I'm fine with how it functions. I just want to wire up a battery pack, safety, and trigger (button)
