What sort of thread do schraders have?

Cannons powered by pneumatic pressure (compressed gas) using a valve or other release.

Exactly what the title says... What sort of threads do schraders have on the body and also can you get any taps of that size?

External thread

Metric: 7.7 mm OD, thread root diameter is 6.9 mm × 0.794 mm pitch.
Imperial: 0.305 in OD, thread root diameter 0.271 in × 32 tpi
and also can you get any taps of that size?
No.

You can however buy cheap alloy schrader caps on eBay and machine them ;)

Thanks guys! I thought I had already googled it though
I wish someone would make taps for them. That's a good idea with the caps though Jack, thanks :)

I actually thought he meant the thread on the body of the schrader valves that actually thread into something.
Like the schraders that go on a water tank.
