UZI/Mac 11.

I need some help with this build. I recently finished my mauser build, which i will post pictures of at some point, and I started a UZI/Mac 11 build. Its a basic cloud, but here's the problem, it creates a vortex inside, and the bb's wont get sucked into the barrel because its on the bottom. Its supposed to be the cloud, but I can't figure out why the vortex is being created. Its a triangle container, I will post a picture of the set up when I take pictures of my mauser, so it should work pretty well. Also, and recommendations as to power source? I saw BTB's PNUZI (which is what I am basing this off of) and I thought that the co2 powerlet's would work pretty well. So any thoughts or comments would be nice.

Nice to see you are willing to try..but be warned.

The unregulated powersource of CO2 bulbs mean you need a serious valve and serious fittings leading up to it.
I used a 12 gram adapter, a steel reducer and a pressurewasher valve.

12 grams of CO2 get you about 2.5 seconds of firing..
Gets expensive real fast..
especially when it gets clogged or won't agitate the bb's correctly..

Make sure to do all of your testing with the aid of a compressor and finetune the design before moving on to wasting bulbs.

Thanks for the info Brian. Any suggests as to what I should do to fix the feeding?

Basically what you need to feed properly is a vortexblock.
With the barrel lined up like it should be, not at the bottom.

I've tried several different designs and most offer little more than headache.
Yes, I've gotten other designs to work but none as reliable as a vortexblock.
And you need something to feed the ammo towards the block.
Either gravity or a springloaded plunger.

What if you do like this, putting the air input to the side of the breech?

vortex blocks are pretty easy to make, a block of wood with a few holes drilled in it is all you need. oh plus a bb skirt partially covering the block to prevent jamming. Just a hand drill and drill bits really

wood will wear out pretty quick i would put a bit of pipe and cast a block of epoxy around it.
