If I had a hybrid that big, I would probably be a bit of a cünt about it too :D you've certainly earned the bragging rights.

Are you any closer to going public?

I note that Vera is pointed in the direction of some seemingly oxidised and presumably derelict structures, I wonder... hehe

'Visible from space' makes for good bragging rights, but conversely it is now the only spud gun vulnerable to attack from a Low-Orbit Ion Cannon.

Strictly speaking, most of Google Earth's high-res stuff is aerial photography, and not from space.... But that doesn't make it any less impressive. Or me any less jealous, haha.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before.

Killjoy.

(Yeah, I know. Commercial satellites are only good to about 1 m resolution. That pic is probably good to about 1 foot. Still, it was a fun thread title, damnit!)

Could be closer than you think.

It would still be visible from space though :)

Well actually no. "Visible" generally means visible without optical assistance. If you allow lenses then virtually all spudguns, even minis, would be "visible" from space (as long as they are uncovered). Perhaps not by a commercial satellite but certainly to a spy satellite.

Still, it is a great thread title. :D
