the one i use is rated for 90psi,i would take it to 130psi, but a blowgun rated to 30psi and taking it to 250psi wont work,i think it would start leaking/failing around 160psi at the least.im pretty sure they dont blow up, they just leak.

Most if not all blowguns are rated to 150psi it is the tips that you need to worry about, the tips are really what is rated to 30 or 90psi. Since you shouldn't be using a tip you should be safe to 150psi, but I don't know about 250psi... unless you can find a blowgun that is rated to 250psi I would look into other options.
Also roughboy why are you going for a 250psi metal gun? Do you have any previous spud gun experience?

Is your Google.com Broken?!
I doubt your blowgun is rated to 30 psi, seriously. That's probably the output pressure, like all the ones around here are. Someone actually told me today that they didn't get a blowgun because it was only rated to 30 psi, and I told them the same thing as I'm telling you.
