Hi guys, got this 2ltr tank off ebay and want some help identifiying the thing on top of it!

Small one:

I had this inside of it... I assumed it was a check valve but it had no spring behind it, only one in front of it?!?! - I placed one behind it so i could use it as one

Another one:

Here is the top of it:

The top unscrewed:

Looking up into the top peice:

What was inside the top peice:

And finnaly the top peice unscrewd showing the fat spring and the peice in place in the picture aboved (Forgot to do this with the main light on so only the side light is on - thus resulting in epoxy batcave effect)

Thanks in advance :D

I´m pretty sure it´s a inline regulator, remove the spring that you added and use it as a regulator(I always wanted a inline regulator, you have one and you are ruin it!)

The air tank that I used on my QEV gun (in my sig) was like that, IIRC it had something like that on top. My dad said it was an on demant valve/pin valve. I just unscrewed it and tapped new threads in the opening.
