I want to make a paintball gun , would this work

Im going to make a pb gun and I want to use the qev slide valve semi auto setup. I will attach a reg then a pb tank probably a 13/3000 tank as an air source .
Here are my questions
1 what size pipe preferably PVC pipe would fit paintballs?
2 what size air chamber should I use to shoot a paintball at 280 fps?
After I figure that info out I will possibly work in a blow forward bolt and make a wooden housing for it
Would this work fine with ought a blow forward bolt

A wooden housing should work, assuming you seal it with epoxy. You'd be far better off using another material though.

Ideally, machined out of aluminium, but have a look at JSR's and Wyz's blowforward bolt designs, then upscale it to your needs. It can be made out of standard PVC pipes, with some modification.

id say you will be better off with a BFB but you can use a tee mag.
