well i need to mold a butane container i guess you can call it i dont know the correct term because im having a stupid moment anyway.

i want to mold a butane container like the ones used on lighters. it needs to be refillable ,its for an extremely important project me and a freind have and i nned to make it small like the size of a knickel. how would i go about doing this? i want to run a valve and a hose from it basically will functionlike a very small compacted grill lighter .i have the igniter and stuff figured out but this seems to be very difficult as i dont know what valve to use or how to make the mold and make this refillable any tips are appreciated thanks

Get a steel washer of the desired chamber size and about 1/8" thick. Drill the hole out until it is only about 1/8" from the edge.
Solder two steel plates to either side of the washer and you'll have a container.
Cut the fill valve out of a normal disposable lighter and epoxy it into this container. I'll let you decide where the hole should be drilled.

I don't know where you're going with this so I can't really say anything else besides that.

Safety note, build it so it is NEVER more than 80% full. Without expansion room, a cold fill to 100% when it warms up and expands, may pop your container. This is why butane lighters are never 100% full.

I've cast containers out of epoxy, built small and rigid I suppose it would take the pressure.

Buy a small refilleble lighter? Yesterday you were talking about a .144 full auto that ended up in a bolt action, now this  how about sit down and think a little before throwing posts??
