uhmm it seems that the tungsten rod is too long - the projectile's cg is probably going to be too close to cp

ohh BTW it looks like a dildo - seriously JSR - what was on your mind when you were designing it ?? :D

The current CG according to solidworks isn't that bad, though I do need to drill it out a bit further.

edit: pushed the rod forward 5mm, didn't make a huge difference but the CG is well ahead of the CP.

Does it? I think the mind that saw it as such is more troubled ;)

ok for the delrin but it will put a disk as for the other sabot

Actually, making the delrin part a separate sabot looks like a better idea after all...

Yes, it's had enough of being the junior partner in this projectile-sabot relationship and will storm off at the first opportunity :D
