I haven't a lathe a home. I'm happy enough when it works without o-rings. :p
All you need to do is put a ring of tape around the piston, and use it as a guide, then cut into it with a saw, and smooth out the groove with sand paper, then lube up the piston, and slide an O ring onto it.

I will have a look for finding o-rings here.

btw: I have lubed the piston before I placed him in the tee.

I would hope that you lubed the piston before putting it in there...

Offcourse I lubed the piston! I've got a large can of (grease)lube.

Anyone getting a idea for the color scheme? Painting is not for directly, just need to tune it up.

The new glass is ordered and I can get it Monday. :)

I bought some darkblue hammerite and black.
Darkblue for the chamber and T, black for barrel.
I do not think I will use this cannon for destruction, just for recreational tennisball shooting. I think you want nothing more than to destroy objects. Right? :P

This afternoon a update!

Some progress. Since I started working this week again.
The vacation is over so I have less time to work on the cannon.

This morning I maked the supports for between the barrel and chamber. I painted them black, they are drying now.

This week I painted the entire cannon.
I like it pretty much. :) :P

I still need to mount the support between the barrel and chamber, but they are drying now.

I'm thinking about making something where I can place the cannon on. Some ideas anyone? :P

Can you even lift that thing?

It'll be a shame if you have to repair the piston and damage the paint job with a large pipe wrench

Here a few pics with the spacer installed. I was first thinking to mount 2 of them. But it's enough with one.
