hello to all,
i m building a semi auto and the reload system will be like picture 1;
the question is: will it add a vertical recoil to the gun?
if i put a simple hopper like in picture 2, will be less recoil?
Doubt about recoil

Recoil is not something which would be an issue for a small calibre pneumatic.

I recommend you work out how to calculate recoil, then consider anything under 30ft/lb of recoil is easy to handle, 30-50ft/lb gets a bit hard on your shoulder, 50-80ft/lb is uncomfortable to quite painful, and upwards of 80ft/lb is starting to get dangerous.
MrCrowleys' Mjolnir has around 80ft/lb of free recoil energy. Any pneumatic won't get close. Also, impulse time is another factor, a pneumatic throwing 4oz of lead at 600fps will have less felt recoil that a shotgun pushing 1 1/8oz at 1250fps.
Basically, don't worry about it.
