ok im confused, is the ball valve the valve or is a piston used?
Why is there a female disconect?
For filling?and the ball valve kills the flow?

The ball valve is to actuate the QEV and also is used as a fill up point for air simple and works well no doubt.

I was fireing this thing today and its so cool, you feel like your holding a realy shotgun without a stock.

The the QEV started not working so I opened it and saw a bit of ptfe tape was stuck to it from the joint just where the chamber connects to it.

that's pretty nice. you polished it, huh?

the comparison between the first configuration, and this configuration is, well not even a comparison. It looks much better now.

Finally, I have it finnished, It now kind of resembles btbs sawn off, To get the male quick dissconnect into the copper i had to turn down the threads so they wer flat with an improvised lathe (Put it in a drill and used a file) then solder it in.

Thanks, it only taken me about 7months lol, since I first saw your gun and decided I wanted one, then I started on pneumatics then made my one that looked nothing like yours etc...

I couldnt of done it without you suggesting for the barrel to chamber space being less, thanks.

Wonder if killagorilla is going to do any thing.

thanks, Iv been fireing it alnight at tin cans about 20m away and im getting a pretty ok shot.
I think i like this one more than my bigger QEV gun, which is quite annoying since the bigger one was so much more expensive.

I have a friend that rifled his barrel with one of those things you clean the rifling in a shotgun with. you should try that, to increase accuracy. try shooting an unopened, shook up pop can with a marble. It's awesome.

EDIT: wow, it has had, like, four or five transformations to get it to the point it is at now. just about nothing is original. this is no way a bad thing, though.

Rifleing in a shotgun? I thought they were smoothbore?

Dose anyon think I should paint it or would the paint scratch off copper easily?

Anyone know a way you can keep copper shiny? I was thinking some kind of spray on lakker (sp?) or somthing, would that work? dose it even exist?

thanks
