can someone tell me how fire extinguishers work in pneumatic

ok well ive seen many pneumatics that have the fire extingushers handle thing for the trigger...how does this work? is it just a replacement for the blow gun or do you not have to like buy a sprinkler valve or make a piston at all?

depends on how much power you want and on the barrel diameter..

For smallbore it's a resonable valve, for largebore it's useless.
It could be compared to a large blowgun.
