I've come across a little bit of pipe.

I could possibly pull off a coax, but it most definitely would need a 4" barrel or something. Which I'm fine with, I actually already have a 10' section here already (although it's schedule 40, but who cares for this purpose).
Making a piston oughta be fun if I went this route. Food for thought, thanks.

Suddenly, pipe.
I placed my M1 Carbine and a 10' stick of 4" schedule 40 for scale. That, and a tape measure. My friend actually had TWO 8" diameter chunks each being 89" long, so I snagged that as well. They need some cleaning up, but are in usable shape (no cracks or anything, but who knows. Could be something under the dirt). I was forced to cut down the 6" pipe into a 10' foot piece, and the other is 42" long. Otherwise, it wouldn't have fit in my car and I didn't really feel like screwing with the roof rack. Worked out well, just barely fit.

So there you have it, the basis for some upcoming projects.
