Sleeving with DWV

if i have two pieces of pressure rated pipe for a chamber and i want to join them if i sleeve the outside with DWV do you think it will be safe?
BTW one of the pipes will be glued to the DWV and the other bolted/screwed to the DWV is that safe?its so i can take of the chamber to make the gun smaller for transporting.

I would just get a male and female NPT x Spigot fittings, much safer.

carl the problem is that no plumbing merchant in Auckland(biggest city in New Zealand)stocks 4"(100mm)pressure fittings,the only 100mm fittings they stock are end caps.
ive got two choices:

1:sleeve with DWV
2:sand down 2mm of both pieces of pipe and sleeve with PN18 pipe(260psi)

the 2nd option will take me about 4hours with my palm sander so if i use DWv it will save me alot of time.
and remeber i cant get any fittings that will do the job so those are my only choices.

I still wouldn't sleeve with non-pressure rated pipe... If you do then you will be throwing away the safety margin on your cannon.

I can't,its American pipes I.D and O.D theyre different to our pipes I.D and O.D.
and i doubt they ship over seas cheaply.

No they are the same usually... The 4" is nominal...

its all good now i got out my metal grinder and it worked like a charm in 20min.the gun is finished but i cant fire it for another 10hours b/c of glue and primer
