anime/manga guns

has anyone tryed to make a manga type gun,one would be like the guns from hellsing,rave masters,clockwork,or any other and have almost succesfuly recreated the weapon like only a few minor diferences in the conversion from manga firearm to a pnematic,combustion or hybrid?
does anyone think that this could be done successfuly.(of cource people like jsr, who are up there with chuck noris could probably do it if they cared.)

A basic design with a outer plastic casing would work well to give the look.

I was thinking something like gun that actualy works like the gun in the books or shows, but like jsr gave an example of somthing else in a movie, it is still on topic. I was just reading rave master at the time.and the girl has 2 guns and anger issues.
