PSI levels and tanks
I was revisiting an idea for a bb pistol and thought of using a PCP tank for it. Then I started looking up PSI per-shot and total resovior figures for low-mid power BB guns and found that there doesn't really seem to be any concrete info on it. My idea is for a plinking sorta informal gun, but it makes it kinda hard to figure out what would be a suitable size and flow when I don't have anything to base it off of.

I know what a PCP is
but what specific tank are you referring to?

Well I didn't have a specific one in mind yet. I was planning on using c02 for this particular gun but with the weather here, a PCP is an infinitely better option. I'm not sure how big a resorvoir I'd need. I'd like to get the maximum number of shots inbetween fills while still keeping it pistol sized.

CO2 is a much denser pressure source than air if you want to keep things compact, and is to a great extent self regulating.
A typical airsoft GBB pistol magazine includes the valve and BB stack, might be a good place to start: http://www.ebay.com/itm/KJW-1911-KP-04- ... 1237981102
