Installing Ignition

When installing the screws for the spark to jump across, is it fine to just screw them into the side of the pvc, or do I need to use some kind of glue or whatnot to secure them into the chamber?

Just screw them into the chamber but if they are loose apply some glue.Is that guy in your avator saying who was that?By any chance?

It very well could be,then again last night i thought he was saying rna for a while....

Well since they answered your question already pope, I'm gonna jack your thread . Does anyone know how long of a wire you can put on a grill ignitor before you lose arc and/or ignition? I've been considering bulding a propane fueled combustin gun, and while I'm fairly sure there won't be any problems, my dad is insisting that I ignite it the first few times from several feet away.
Thanks for any help

P.S. I have made spudguns before having made both combustion and pneumatic, so I dod have some expeirence with them
