Does anyone know what SDR21 is rated to?

I wouldnt.
Its fragile and has a relatively low pressure rating, but you do what you want.

Not sure what he was talking about.

The reason why it is sleeved is to protect it from external loads. Such as being stepped on, dropped, hit on the wall, etc.

i do considering that its thin wall makes it somewhat sensetive to sudden shock (or external loads like pimp said:). Drop a good sized (3 maybe 4 feet) section of it full of 120 psi and see what happens.

I honestly dont know why you'd even want to use it as a pressure chamber (pneumatic cannon i assume). Why not use sch 40 or 80? The gain in chamber volume from sdr 21 to sch 40 is not significant enough to disregard a safety hazard. Considering that 1.5" sch 40 is rated at 330 psi id much rather use that for any sort of pressure chamber even if its a mini pneumatic.
