Well I've had two ideas, both of which are dubious:

1) clasp both hands together to act as a combustion chamber, with a tube between the fingers as a barrel

2) build a combustion chamber out of snow

The latter sounds like a pain in the ass, the former sounds like an invitation for second degree burns and mild electric shocks.

I'm surprised by the lack of enthusiasm. Chalk it up to bad timing???

Disappointing to say the least. Hopefully it can be done again later with better results.
