Hi there,
I need a basic pressure hose for a project I'm making (the one that you use hose clamps to tighten it on the hose barb).
I live in an area where pneumatics are very scarce so I thought to buy one from Ebay.
Trouble is, when i search "Pressure Hose", "Pressure Tubing" and such, the results are only hoses with with tapered ends.
I need a hose that can be cut to any length I want and fit on a 3/8 hose barb. I just can't figure out how to find this kind of hose.
I'm very sorry about the stupid question but I'm really lost here.

What pressure do you need? Any old hardware store should have pressure hose (check near the compressors). Any old car parts store should as well (might ask for fuel line for a car with fuel injection and the gas pump located in the gas tank). Gas lines for high pressure car fuel systems (pretty much any modern car) are rated to something like 300 PSI.

@jrrdw Braided hose seems to be stainless steel. I need something simpler.
@jimmy101 I need the hose to withstand 300 PSI. I have turned over the entire store but there are no pressure hoses. Does the fuel line you mentioned fits on a hose barb?
I'm looking for something that will fit on this:

Summit racing braided nylon fuel hose, basic specs: "It can handle heat levels up to 275 degrees F and a maximum working pressure of 350 psi."

Advance Auto fuel hose, basic specs: "Designed for temperatures ranging from -29°F to 275°F (302°F intermittent) with a burst pressure rating of 900 psi."

I would go with the Advanced Auto fuel line myself....if it was me wanting it.

Take the hose barb (which is pretty big) to your local car parts store and ask for fuel line for high pressure fuel systems. You might get lucky. If they don't have hose that big they might have barbs that fit the hose they do carry.

I haven't bought the hose barb yet. Should I buy a smaller one? maybe 1/4"?
