Valve questions
Hello everyone I was doing some research and I want to make a semi automatic airsoft gun. And I was thinking of making a hammer valve possibly now is this the right way to go? Or would a qev be better? But the thing about a qev is I can't quite rap my head around the idea or it or how to effectively use one. Please point me in the right direction for both of these valves thanks!

For airsoft I like hammer valves. With the QEV's that are out there it's pretty easy to get one small enough but effective enough to work as well on such a small caliber. I think it really comes down to personal preference.

Search box at the top of the page. Use a keyword search "hammer valve". This will bring you probably over 1000 results so look for post by moderator (his name will be in green as mine is), "Brian the brain". There are other members giving information on them as well but Brians "Ol Shatterhand" is one of the most popular launchers on Spudfiles.

I used a hammervalve to pilot a modified QEV...not everybody seems to get the difference.
