Hey Guys
im new to your forum. I hope that i dont break any rules...
I want to build a multishot semi automatic air riffle. For this peoject i want to use a qev and a 3 way valve too pilot the qev. My air source will be a compressor. I am limited to 7 bar. It will be a full metal gun.
Can i use this 3 way valve: http://m.ebay.com/itm/2-Position-3-Way- ... ING_ACTIVE
and this qev: http://m.ebay.com/itm/QE-04-Pneumatic-A ... nav=SEARCH
And will it fit together?
ty for your help guys ;)

Well you'd have to buy an adaptor to convert the threads, but yes they would link together.
The design as you've described it would work too, with a bit of searching round the showcase section you can probably find half a dozen people who have used a similar set-up.

Ty for your fast answer. I know that i need an adapter. i think that i will search another qev that will fit better. But i wasnt sure about the pilot.
How big should be the chamber?

i have another question. For me it looks like a 2 way 2 position valve. Would this work too? or could you send me a link for the 3 way valve that you would use? ir a link to a finished air riffle?
I just dont want to buy a wrong piece...

How big should the chamber be? how long is a piece of string?
This question depends on how much power you want from your launcher, try using a brilliant free bit of software called GGDT to estimate your power and performance and have a play around with it, although from what people have gone with before about 150-200 cubic cm should do you fine.

With regards to your valve, I wouldn't worry about it too much, pretty much anything that deposits air fairly quickly at a push of a button will work, have a deeper look into exactly how they work and how to use them if you are still unsure,

As for existing examples, try out the Showcase section of the site, there are plenty there to see, and some might even give you some extra ideas for your own build,

Also, probably worth mentioning, some folks here can get a bit annoyed when people double post, if you need to add something try the edit button, just thought I'd get in there before someone gives you some bad rep for it,
