I have not tested this yet but im assuming with the right cannon it can do A LOT OF DAMAGE!

How do you intend on sealing it from the rear? What type of metal are we talking here?

As long as the muzzle is in contact with the target... it's not going to fly pointy-end first for long without being fired from a rifled barrel.

Guess you will need to add some fin to steady the shell,and a sabot,like APFSDS shot fot tank gun and it will have a good penetration ability.
